Sue Blodgett, Chair
Department of Entomology
Department of Natural Resource Economics and Management

"The ISU Digital Repository enables Natural Resource Ecology and Management (NREM) and Entomology faculty and students to make their publications, reports and presentations accessible to a global audience. This resource enables faculty and student products to be maintained in a virtual environment that is within the framework of various journals publication guidelines while allowing intellectual materials to be shared with an even widening international audience. We could not have accomplished the comprehensive virtual collection of faculty and staff works without the tremendous support of the ISU Library staff. The digital repository site for both the Natural Resource Ecology and Management (NREM) and Entomology Departments are featured on the respective departmental websites.

My hope is that this will allow faculty and students who publish in narrowly focused fields/journals to have wider and more global accessibility."

"I LOVE it. I can’t tell you how exciting it is to see this come into being. What an advancement for our program and what an opportunity and incentive for our students. I am confident that having our students’ work on the Digital Repository is going to contribute to a improved quality in students’ projects and increased retention in the Honors Program."
